warehousing, to translating business requirements
into dimensional models, and finally to appreciating
how physical structures make sense of it
all - This course will prepare you to implement
and maintain a successful data warehouse.

In this course you will learn the importance
of business requirement gathering, and
the different methods used to ensure success.
You will also learn classic dimensional
modeling from beginning to advanced issues
including techniques for designing fact
tables, dimension tables, slowly changing
dimensions.
The course also attempts to
set the record straight on confusing and
often misleading terminology surrounding
data warehousing. Finally, the course finishes
off with a number of advanced sessions
involving the physical attributes of data
warehousing, namely star query processing
and various other mandatory database techniques.
